Q. Do I need to be trained on Lift Truck/Power Jack Operation even if I rarely use the truck?

A. Absolutely, your employer is responsible for training you in the safe operation of lift trucks regardless of the frequency at which you operate a lift truck. Your employer is also responsible for providing a safe workplace, under various regulations, including those governed by the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
